The one thing all of us waited with bated breath for is finally here... good ol summer holidays. All through exams and the days following it, the only words that decorated all our lips were the ones about the fascinating plans we had for our holidays !!
Like decorating a prize Christmas tree, i carefully laid the footwork of my plans. And finally the holidays are here and are rushing by faster than light and each of my plans kept slipping out into the winds :P
Well I can't deny the fact I am enjoying every second of the holidays quite well, for one, I am sure I have broken the records of any Greek giants in sleeping these hols.... Now the one thing I have planned is to never plan my holidays ever again !!

Exam Fever
I have always loved spring. The nature brimming with heavenly beauty and turning even a little caterpillar into a poet. But can winter be far behind ? In fact, spring brings a little bit of winter right with it. The age old battle of EXAMS!!
As the month of March sets in , it heralds the beginning of the war. We then get extremely in touch with our books and find the theories and formulas trying to roll up our minds into a fatal death roll. We can see the merciless people from the black and white photographs of our books sneering down at us with a smug expression.
my reminder notes during my exams
But exams are also the time when we get unusually creative and highly sensitive to good old mother nature ;)
The dried up paint sets, the dusty instruments and old comic books, with crackled brown pages all appear unusually fascinating to us. We even hear a baby spider slipping down its dew strewn web. It's almost as if our world has been served to us in a different bejeweled platter.
Though at the end of the long tiring day, exams fly away as fast as they come, but the days that they stay with us is a big black smudge on lovely spring !!

A Friendly Smile
First day as a freshman... true to the word, everything appears too fresh, too unknown. It's easy to get lost aimlessly in the crowd which moves with a mission.
Among the thousands of clustered heads, myriad colors and emotions, I spotted one face, as lost as mine, a question mark etched in the eyes and a hopeful smile.
We immediately strike a friendship. Each one of us glad, we don't have to deal with freshman-ship alone.
Hanging around together, we discover more faces, displaying an array of amazement, confusion and wonder. The two of us immediately start with a "Hey der" that eventually went on to become a new cluster in the campus with a well set mission.... The campus cafe ;P

Lugging Luggage
I spent the night packing and repacking my luggage. phew.... It's an herculean task for me. My vacation has come to an end tonight. I am so many things, but a globetrotter is not one of them.
The images of the new destination is always the one thing that spurs me on in the journey. All the same the journey part of the vacation still wears me down. I sure didn't have a nomadic ancestor.

So here I am, bags packed, ticket in hand, travelling shoes on. But the dreams of the new place I am heading to is still - under construction !! Dreamaholic at work.

Wedding Bells Chime
Weddings arrive with cartloads of excitement and fun especially to the brides. So do the engagement announcements. The excitement is doubled when one of your dear friends is the lovely bride to be.
So my friends from high school are at the peak of their excitement limits, as my friend made this announcement this month.
Here's a post for her, wishing her all the happiness, luck and prosperity in the world.

Monday Blues
Well I must confess, since I am on vacation right now, it doesn't really matter, what day of the week it is. But all the same I woke up, with that familiar, ' Oh no, it's monday ' expression.
I had a gloomy cloud forming over my head, and a heart just not ready to let go off the lazy Sunday. Oh I so felt like Garfield...
It took me a while to realize that the Mondays and Sundays are look alikes on a vacation. So I did carry out my Monday blues quick fix, this time too ;)
1. Had a hearty breakfast of pancakes and fruits
2. Dressed myself in the cheeriest color from my wardrobe
3. Listened only to songs with a happy note
So I survived yet another case of Monday Blues with a smile on my lips, a dance in my walk and a song in my heart !! Have a non blue Monday everyone !!

Saturday Night Finds
I had no exciting plans worth waiting for this Saturday, so I set out for a routine Saturday night shopping. Same old streets, same old shops until one of the windows caught my attention. One of the stores which I might have crossed a zillion times before, had this awesome collection of jewellery on display designed by a 15 year old.

they were categorised into different shades, I managed to click the warm color section amidst the admirers

sorry about the shadow, oops well it's a simple jewellery made of a satin ribbon and a glass pendent

this is from the section that was categorised into the colours of the ocean
Well so kudos to the young designer from me, she just got one extra fan this Saturday and some of us found one more interesting hobby worth pursuing.
